About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to drive AI adoption across Coinbase. This role involves working within AI Growth Pods to identify, prototype, and scale high-impact AI automation solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- →Partner with teams across the organization to understand workflows and identify opportunities for AI automation
- →Apply advanced GenAI techniques to design, build, and iterate on functional prototypes
- →Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evolve prototypes into scalable, production-grade AI solutions
- →Provide guidance on AI capabilities and mentor team members on design principles
- →Pilot new AI solutions with functional teams and ensure adoption
- →Work with Security, Legal, and Compliance teams to ensure AI solutions adhere to guidelines
- →Define success metrics and communicate the value delivered by AI initiatives
- →Research and experiment with emerging AI models and tools
Requirements
- ✓5+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 6 months focused on applied AI
- ✓Strong software engineering skills in designing, building, and maintaining production services
- ✓Understanding of LLM capabilities and hands-on experience with AI tools and platforms
- ✓Highly analytical and structured problem-solver
- ✓Experience working cross-functionally with engineering and non-engineering teams
- ✓Strong understanding of data privacy, security, and ethical considerations related to AI
