About the Role
We are seeking experienced Solutions Architects to help scale our B2B products at Coinbase. This role bridges technical field engagement with hands-on software development, working directly with customers as a trusted technical advisor.
Key Responsibilities
- →Partner with customers as a trusted technical advisor, guiding them in building on Coinbase services and APIs
- →Collaborate with prospects and sales teams to address technical requirements and support deal closure
- →Architect and implement distributed systems solutions that address complex customer needs
- →Build and maintain open source SDKs and reference implementations
- →Deliver clear, engaging technical presentations and documentation
- →Oversee customer implementations, proactively identifying and resolving technical roadblocks
- →Maintain and grow long-term customer relationships as they expand their use of Coinbase products
- →Work closely with product and engineering teams to extend core capabilities for strategic client opportunities
- →Collaborate with support teams to ensure customer success
Requirements
- ✓Degree in computer science and 5+ years of software engineering experience
- ✓Ability to quickly understand requirements and rapidly develop solutions
- ✓Proven ability to design and build solutions to complex, ambiguous problems with significant impact
- ✓Familiarity with both modern and legacy integration approaches
- ✓Track record of working effectively with demanding cross-functional stakeholders
- ✓Excellent communication skills with the ability to distill complex needs into actionable recommendations
- ✓Strong ownership mindset with the ability to operate autonomously
- ✓Experience leveraging AI to scale and enhance your contributions
- ✓Expert-level knowledge of REST and WebSocket APIs
- ✓Demonstrates the ability to responsibly use generative AI tools and copilots in daily workflows
