About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Engineer to join the Reporting and Monetization team at Coinbase. This role involves building backend systems that turn every Coinbase Prime event into reliable, audit-ready records, powering client reporting, billing, tax outputs, and statements for the world's largest institutional crypto clients.
Key Responsibilities
- →Design and implement new financing products and features
- →Create and build new reporting, monitoring, tools, frameworks and APIs
- →Articulate a long term vision for maintaining and scaling our backend systems
- →Work with engineers, designers, product managers and senior leadership to turn our product and technical vision into a tangible roadmap every quarter
- →Write high quality, well tested code to meet the needs of your customers
Requirements
- ✓You have at least 2+ years of experience in software engineering
- ✓You’ve designed, built, scaled and maintained production services, and know how to compose a service oriented architecture
- ✓You write high quality, well tested code to meet the needs of your customers
- ✓You’re passionate about building an open financial system that brings the world together
- ✓Experience with Blockchains (such as Bitcoin, Ethereum etc..)
- ✓Experience decomposing a large monolith into microservices
- ✓Experience with Golang, Ruby, Docker, Sinatra, Rails, Postgres, MongoDB or Redshift
- ✓Experience building financial, high reliability or security systems
