About the Role
We are seeking a Staff Software Engineer to join our Security Platform Engineering team at Coinbase. This role involves building capabilities and solutions for various security use cases, focusing on the Workforce IAM Platform to enhance employee access management and security oversight.
Key Responsibilities
- →Build new services to meet critical product and business needs using Golang
- →Design scalable systems to solve novel problems with modern cloud technology
- →Articulate a long-term vision for maintaining and scaling backend systems
- →Work with engineers, designers, and product managers to create a quarterly roadmap
- →Write high-quality, well-tested code to meet customer needs
- →Support operational activities related to digital material management
- →Lead an India-based IAM pod as the primary technical lead
Requirements
- ✓At least 8 years of experience in software engineering
- ✓Experience designing, building, scaling, and maintaining production services
- ✓Knowledge of service-oriented architecture
- ✓Experience in cybersecurity, systems security, and Identity & Access Management
- ✓Passion for building an open financial system
