About the Role
We are looking for a Staff Software Engineer to join Coinbase and help build the future of the global financial system. This role requires balancing individual contribution with leading new projects, setting technical direction, and mentoring other engineers.
Key Responsibilities
- →Architect, design and implement foundational solutions for subscription product
- →Provide technical structure to teams and work closely with management and stakeholders to define strategic roadmaps
- →Manage individual projects priorities, deadlines and deliverables with technical expertise
- →Mentor and train other team members on design techniques and coding standards
- →Write high quality, well tested code to meet customer needs
- →Be responsible for product and operational health
Requirements
- ✓8+ years of experience in software engineering
- ✓Experience architecting and developing solutions to ambiguous problems with significant impact
- ✓Experience managing technical roadmap and driving organizational engineering excellence
- ✓Experience building or scaling systems related to subscription/membership/promotion products, or growth levers
- ✓Experience with growth metrics (e.g. conversion, activation, retention, engagement) and A/B testing frameworks
