About the Role
The Business Development Representative will drive lead generation activities and calendaring/setting of appointments for Cologix sales teams. This role serves as the first point of contact for prospective customers, requiring strong communication skills and a passion for customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- →Field a high volume of Business-to-Business inbound sales calls & emails daily
- →Carry out sales qualification process via thorough and timely follow-ups with inbound leads
- →Provide outside sales team with detailed specifications and additional information gathered on contacts and leads
- →Schedule qualified appointments for the outside sales team
- →Achieve or exceed defined sales metrics for your position
- →Collaborate with sales and marketing department team members to set defined number of qualified sales appointments
- →Manage and update a Customer Relations Management (CRM) database and marketing platform
- →Communicate clearly and thoroughly with management and team members
- →Prepare accurate reports on a daily, weekly or monthly basis as defined by management
Requirements
- ✓Ability to be assertive and persuasive without being aggressive
- ✓Ability to navigate corporate structures to identify decision makers
- ✓Excellent computer skills such as Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with CRM systems
- ✓Extremely strong work ethic and excellent time management skills
- ✓Active listening & retainment skills
- ✓Ability to multi-task, learn quickly and think quickly
- ✓Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- ✓6 months+ of over the phone business-to-business cold-calling and lead generation experience
- ✓French language (written and verbal) a plus
