About the Role
Commure is seeking an Integration Engineer to join our team, supporting core products like Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) and Scribe by ensuring seamless data flow between our platform and over 40 Electronic Medical Records (EMRs). This role is crucial for maintaining interoperability and smooth exchange of healthcare data via HL7, enabling providers to deliver efficient care.
Key Responsibilities
- →Design and implement complex integration solutions between our platform and third-party healthcare systems
- →Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather integration requirements and define technical approaches
- →Contribute to the technical direction of the integration platform by proposing and implementing improvements
- →Take ownership of end-to-end integration workflows, from design through deployment and monitoring
- →Ensure all integration work adheres to healthcare compliance and security standards (HIPAA, HL7, FHIR)
- →Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers
- →Drive implementation of best practices for integration development
- →Stay up-to-date with industry trends in healthcare technology and integration patterns
Requirements
- ✓Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- ✓2+ years of professional software development experience
- ✓Proficiency in frontend languages (JavaScript, HTML, CSS)
- ✓Proficiency in backend languages (Python, Go, or C++)
- ✓Experience with Git, GCP/AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, relational and non-relational DBs
- ✓Proven track record of designing and implementing end-to-end solutions
- ✓Excellent communication and collaboration skills
