About the Role
Commure is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to join our engineering team and help revolutionize healthcare technology. You will be responsible for building and scaling systems that power our suite of healthcare products, creating user-friendly interfaces that operate reliably at scale.
Key Responsibilities
- →Design and influence decisions that affect our backend architecture for scalable, AI-powered healthcare solutions
- →Lead technical planning and execution for new features, balancing technical feasibility, usability, and business impact
- →Establish and enforce best practices for code quality, testing, and deployment
- →Mentor junior engineers, guiding backend engineering, design patterns, and coding standards
- →Collaborate with product managers, designers, and clinical experts to translate requirements into intuitive and efficient UI solutions
- →Work directly with customers to solve their issues daily
Requirements
- ✓Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent extensive experience
- ✓4+ years of professional experience in software development
- ✓Strong Backend Programming Skills (Python and Go)
- ✓General Understanding of Containers and Cloud (Docker, Kubernetes)
- ✓Track record of strong execution and ability to drive work from ideation to successful implementation
- ✓Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
- ✓Strong communication skills and the ability to interface with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- ✓Experience in environments where you have to ship quickly
- ✓Excitement to work in a high-impact field with a builder attitude
