About the Role
Commure is seeking a talented Staff Backend Engineer to join our engineering team and help revolutionize healthcare technology. You will be responsible for building and scaling systems that power our suite of healthcare products, creating user-friendly interfaces that operate reliably at scale.
Key Responsibilities
- →Influence and craft the roadmap for teams, ensuring technical excellence
- →Work across the entire technology stack, including Python, Go, FastAPI, and Flask
- →Lead technical planning and execution for new features
- →Design and refine systems to enforce best practices for code quality
- →Collaborate with product managers, designers, and clinical experts
- →Work directly with customers to solve their issues daily
Requirements
- ✓Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- ✓8+ years of professional experience in software development
- ✓Strong backend programming skills in Python and Go
- ✓General understanding of containers and cloud technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
- ✓Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
- ✓Track record of making successful architectural decisions
- ✓Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- ✓Experience in fast-paced environments with daily deployments
- ✓Attention to detail around user experience and customer needs
