About the Role
We are looking for a Product Security Engineer to join the Product Security team at Confluent. This role involves creating high-impact security features for Confluent Cloud and improving the security platform. You will design and implement identity and access management functionality, as well as scalable authentication and authorization methods.

Requirements
- ✓2-5 years of relevant software, product and/or security engineering experience
- ✓Strong fundamentals in distributed systems design and development
- ✓Experience building and operating large-scale systems in the Cloud
- ✓Solid understanding of basic systems operations (disk, network, operating systems, etc)
- ✓Proficiency in Java, Scala, C/C++, Go or other statically typed languages
