About the Role
Our team is advancing the innovation of Apache Kafka both within Confluent and the open source community. We are seeking a passionate engineer to help shape the next generation of Kafka APIs, protocols, and streams.
Key Responsibilities
- →Contribute towards the execution of complex projects

- →Collaborate with other engineers to make decisions that benefit Apache Kafka and Confluent
Requirements
- ✓Pursued a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Math, or a related technical field with a graduation date between 2023- May 2025
- ✓Self-motivated and able to drive projects with mentorship and project requirements
- ✓Ability to work effectively in teams and strong verbal and written communication skills
- ✓Good knowledge of data structures and algorithms and proficiency in at least one of these languages: Java/Scala, C, C++, Go
- ✓Smart, humble, and empathetic
- ✓Driven and excited about the challenges of a fast-paced, innovative, and quickly growing software development environment
- ✓Interested in building large-scale distributed systems in the cloud and excited to make an impact
