About the Role
We are looking for a highly motivated Account Manager to take ownership of our expansion efforts in the Australian market. This is a builder role, being the first Account Manager in the region with opportunities to grow into a more strategic position as the region scales.
Key Responsibilities
- βOwn the post-sale relationship with SMB and Mid-Market customers in Australia.
- βConduct discovery and expansion meetings to identify new opportunities.
- βCollaborate with SDRs to manage and convert pipeline.
- βPartner with onboarding and support teams to ensure a smooth customer experience.
- βTrack and meet quarterly revenue expansion goals.
- βContribute feedback to Product and Marketing teams.
Requirements
- β2+ years of experience in SaaS, preferably in AM or AE roles.
- βProven track record in SMB or Mid-Market segments.
- βHas transitioned from Sales (AE/BDR) to Account Management, or has a hybrid background.
- βStrong collaborative mindset, with experience working cross-functionally (Sales, CS, Marketing).
- βHighly independent and self-driven, thriving in a remote, low-supervision environment.
- βUnderstands the dynamics of early-stage teams or startups, comfortable building processes.
- βAmbitious and growth-oriented, seeing this role as an opportunity to scale a new region.
- βStrong communication skills and ability to build trust with clients quickly.
