About the Role
We are looking for a Sales Engineer to join our team at ConnectWise, a leading software company. This role involves providing high-quality product demonstrations and serving as a key technical resource for sales executives and prospective partners.
Key Responsibilities
- →Provide support to the Sales team with a high attention to detail
- →Research, analyze, and document findings
- →Coach, review, and/or delegate work to other team members
- →Provide expert technical training to clients and communicate customer feedback
- →Represent both technical and functional aspects of our products/services
- →Produce technical and product demonstrations and presentations
- →Scope technical solutions required to align product designs to partners’ businesses
- →Execute proof of concepts with prospects at both a technical and business level
- →Recommend solutions that optimize value
- →Position technology to both business and technical users
- →Prepare, research, and provide input into technical RFPs/RFQs
- →Serve as a key point of contact for cross-functional teams
- →Pursue and maintain professional and technical knowledge
Requirements
- ✓Ability to manage large projects and processes independently
- ✓Recognized subject matter expert in applicable work area
- ✓Ability to adapt and understand new technology/processes
- ✓Proven sales track record of success
- ✓Ability to identify opportunities and leverage resources
- ✓Understanding of relevant products and services
- ✓Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
- ✓Ability to articulate partner solution strategies
- ✓Ability to remain flexible while learning new products and technologies
- ✓Team player with willingness to work both in a team and independently
- ✓Professional presence suitable for interaction in meetings
- ✓Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent business experience
- ✓5+ years of relevant experience
- ✓Experience with a business process or management application
- ✓Experience with a CPQ tool
- ✓Experience with a CRM, such as Salesforce
- ✓Preferred: Experience as a Sales Consultant
- ✓Preferred: Experience in relevant channels such as MDP, VAR, OE, TSP, Internal IT, and/or MSP+
- ✓Working Conditions
- ✓Onsite/Hybrid/Remote depending on location
- ✓20-30% travel may be required
- ✓May require occasional work outside of normal business hours
