About the Role
We are looking for a Test Engineer to join our team at ConnectWise, a leading software company. This role focuses on delivering high-quality products through rigorous testing and automation.
Key Responsibilities
- →Design, develop, and maintain robust UI and API automation test suites for IAM, AuthZ, and STS components
- →Build scalable and maintainable automation frameworks using Karate for API and service-level automation
- →Collaborate with engineering teams to define test strategy, test plans, and test coverage for new and existing features
- →Validate end-to-end flows such as authentication, token generation, session management, OAuth/OIDC flows, roles & permissions, MFA, SSO, etc.
- →Participate in architecture/design discussions to provide quality and testability insights early in the lifecycle
- →Ensure timely execution of regression suites and continuous integration pipelines
- →Perform root-cause analysis on test failures and work with developers to resolve issues
- →Implement test data strategies, mocks, and stubs as needed to support automation
- →Contribute to quality metrics, dashboards, and continuous process improvements
Requirements
- ✓Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent business experience
- ✓4 to 6 years of experience in test engineering
- ✓Proficiency in Python and JavaScript for building robust automation scripts and utilities
- ✓Experience with API testing tools like Postman and Karate
- ✓Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and tools like GitLab and Jenkins
- ✓Knowledge of compliance standards such as PCI DSS
- ✓Proficient in Git and collaborative workflows for managing test code and automation assets
