About the Role
We are looking for a Principal Product Manager to define and execute an ambitious strategy to expand Contentful into adjacent marketer and agency workflows through AI-powered solutions. This role focuses on building and launching new products that drive measurable commercial impact.
Key Responsibilities
- →Define and continuously evolve a clear opportunity map for adjacent marketer and agency workflows
- →Conduct market research and collaborate with customers to capture requirements and refine the product vision
- →Influence how Contentful evolves to be a thought leader in AI-driven marketing
- →Lead end-to-end discovery and validation across a portfolio of new initiatives
- →Make disciplined prioritization decisions across multiple initiatives
- →Translate validated opportunities into AI-enabled products that automate marketing transformation
- →Drive execution through a dedicated cross-functional squad
- →Partner with Engineering, Design, and Product Marketing to deliver cohesive outcomes
- →Manage and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment across the customer journey
- →Act as the product lead for this emerging domain
- →Raise the bar on product craft within the group
- →Contribute to a PM culture that shares insights and research findings
Requirements
- ✓Experience as a Principal or Group Product Manager in a B2B SaaS environment
- ✓Demonstrated success leading 0→1 initiatives in ambiguous environments
- ✓Strong strategic thinking and ability to map opportunity landscapes
- ✓Hands-on experience with AI-enabled or automation-driven products
- ✓Clear commercial acumen and experience shaping packaging, pricing, or revenue strategy
- ✓Technical fluency to partner with engineering and platform teams
- ✓Track record of driving initiatives end-to-end with strong ownership
- ✓Ability to influence and align stakeholders across teams
- ✓Strong communication skills and executive presence
- ✓Experience in marketing technology, agency workflows, or related domains is a plus
