About the Role
We are looking for an Automation Technician to join our team. This role focuses on supporting programming, configuring, and troubleshooting control systems for mixing and compounding equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- →Assist in programming, configuring, and troubleshooting Siemens PLCs and HMIs for mixing/compounding equipment
- →Support troubleshooting of control systems, drives, and instrumentation to reduce downtime
- →Help maintain documentation of control programs and wiring diagrams
- →Collaborate with engineers on equipment installations and process improvements
- →Learn and apply safety standards and company policies in all tasks
- →Support capital spending projects and implementations of new equipment
- →Assist and support the implementation of Factory Talk and other automation software
- →Work with cross-functional teams for continuous improvement projects
- →Support and train maintenance technicians
- →Support TPOC, Gemba, and 5S programs
- →Training and coaching on Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), Camline, Iconics, WiriTec, among others, depending on the implementation package
Requirements
- ✓Experience with Siemens PLCs and HMIs
- ✓Knowledge of control systems, drives, and instrumentation
- ✓Ability to maintain documentation of control programs and wiring diagrams
- ✓Understanding of safety standards and company policies
- ✓Experience with Factory Talk and other automation software
- ✓Familiarity with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), Camline, Iconics, WiriTec
