About the Role
We are looking for a Software Licensing Specialist to manage the licensing of software products from ContiTech's global portfolio. This role involves ensuring compliance, managing renewals, and supporting strategic guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
- βEfficient and correct licensing according to contractual conditions
- βEnsuring seamless renewals of maintenance and subscriptions
- βDocumenting each license acquisition in the license management tool
- βIssuing and managing license keys
- βDefining and implementing measures to minimize risks and ensure valid licensing
- βProviding license balances and conducting internal audits
- βDetermining needs and planning the budget for software usage rights
- βActing as central internal contact for software licensing
- βDeveloping simulations and scenarios for license models
- βMonitoring data quality of license types and usage
- βProviding analyses and data for management requests
- βCoordinating measurements for internal or external inquiries
- βCommunicating changed license conditions to internal owners
- βDeveloping alternative license metrics and adapting changed metrics
- βParticipating in mergers & acquisitions regarding license metrics
Requirements
- βExperience in software licensing and compliance
- βStrong understanding of license metrics and contractual conditions
- βAbility to manage license renewals and documentation
- βSkills in budget planning and needs assessment
- βExperience with license management tools
- βKnowledge of internal and external auditing processes
- βAbility to develop simulations and scenarios for license models
