About the Role
We are looking for a Trademark Paralegal to manage and protect the companyβs global trademark portfolio. This role involves handling complex trademark prosecution, enforcement, and maintenance tasks, while serving as a key liaison between internal stakeholders and external counsel worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
- βOversee global trademark portfolio, including filings, renewals, oppositions, and cancellations
- βConduct searches and provide risk assessments for new trademarks and product names
- βManage infringement cases, oppositions, and disputes in collaboration with internal & external counsel
- βAdvise business units on trademark strategy, brand protection, and risk mitigation
- βMaintain accurate trademark records in IP management systems, ensure data integrity, and generate reports for internal stakeholders
- βEnsure adherence to international trademark laws and company policies
- βMonitor costs and manage relationships with external law firms and service providers
Requirements
- βExperience in trademark prosecution, enforcement, and maintenance
- βKnowledge of international trademark laws
- βStrong understanding of IP management systems
- βExcellent communication and liaison skills
- βAbility to manage budgets and vendor relationships
