About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join the Chef Tech team at CookUnity, a platform connecting chefs with customers for ready-to-eat meals. This role involves building and maintaining tools that empower chefs to operate efficiently and profitably.
Key Responsibilities
- →Design and implement features within the JavaScript stack that engage customers and impact people’s lives
- →Iterate on new and existing features to improve user experience and performance
- →Contribute to software architecture, development best practices, and new technologies
- →Improve the technical stack with engineering best practices
- →Participate in code reviews and mentor other engineers
- →Contribute technically to projects by being a hands-on coder
- →Partner with product, growth, marketing, and other teams to refine and improve the product
- →Support the on-call rotation to ensure 24/7 business operations
Requirements
- ✓At least 5 years of experience as a Software Engineer with Typescript, NodeJS, ReactJS, GraphQL, MySQL, and PostgreSQL
- ✓Experience designing and building cloud architecture, backends, middle ends, and web apps
- ✓Experience implementing and maintaining unit tests and e2e tests
- ✓Strong knowledge of service-oriented architectures
- ✓Understanding of how to interact with and build backend REST APIs
- ✓Familiarity with continuous integration
- ✓Advanced level of English
- ✓Strong knowledge of relational databases, data modeling, and query optimization
