About the Role

We are looking for a Business Development Representative to join our team at Cortex, the internal developer portal that helps companies improve service quality and velocity. This role focuses on outbound pipeline generation and creating qualified opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

→Hit and exceed monthly quota
→Deliver qualified meetings and generate sales qualified opportunities with an emphasis on quality
→Accurately forecast weekly, monthly performance results
→Collaborate with teammates on the BDR team to continually improve systems, tools and processes
→Collaborate with AE’s to multi-thread and generate new outbound business opportunities

Requirements

✓1-3 years of professional experience in a sales related environment
✓Strong performance track record
✓Experience with Salesforce.com
✓Experience with Outreach.io
✓Solid fundamental skills in cold calling, prospecting, researching, copywriting and opportunity qualification
✓Strong communication and collaboration skills
