About the Role
We are looking for an AI Architect to join Coupa, where you'll lead the architectural vision for our next-generation Autonomous Spend Management platform. This role involves designing intelligent systems that optimize business spend and streamline supplier collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- βCollaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver AI-powered products
- βShape the platform architecture by owning and evolving diagrams and APIs
- βBuild an end-to-end platform that democratizes AI across engineering teams
- βOwn proofs of concept and lead key RFCs around hierarchical agent memory
- βLead by influence through architecture office hours, mentoring, and technical documentation
Requirements
- βAt least 10 years of experience with Python, Go, Java, or Ruby
- β8+ years of experience deploying scalable services on a major cloud provider
- β2+ years of experience with Agentic AI frameworks
- β2+ years of experience architecting and developing complex AI systems
- βExperience as a Principal Engineer or Architect guiding 50+ engineers
- βDemonstrated ability to lead and mentor multiple engineering teams
