About the Role
We are looking for a Technical Program Manager to join our team at Coupa. This role involves driving infrastructure and development projects in cloud and data center environments, with a focus on delivering complex projects to successful conclusions.
Key Responsibilities
- →Partner with a global team to drive infrastructure and development projects in cloud and data center environments
- →Use your technical skills and leadership abilities to architect clear project goals and drive end-to-end delivery for multiple concurrent complex projects
- →Oversee project and program progress, automate status reporting, manage critical path risks and issues, and develop strategic plans to mitigate them
- →Optimize project estimation and team capacity planning processes to ensure consistent, predictable and efficient project delivery outcomes
- →Translate business objectives into actionable technical roadmaps, milestones, and measurable outcomes
- →Be responsible for the design, enhancement and automation of critical processes such as Availability Management, Service Metrics Reporting, and others
- →Drive a culture of continuous improvement through development and reviews of KPI dashboards related to project delivery and facilitate regular business reviews with partner teams
Requirements
- ✓Experience in leading projects involving modern SDLC methodologies and Agile/Scrum practices at scale; relevant Agile certifications are a plus
- ✓Deep knowledge of SRE, Cloud Engineering, DevOps and Security practices and experience working with leading cloud service providers and data center environments
- ✓7+ years professional experience in a Technical Project/Program Management, Engineering Program Management, or equivalent roles
- ✓Proven experience leading large, cross-team, technically complex programs with high ambiguity
- ✓Strong technical fluency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), infrastructure, and platform engineering concepts
- ✓Passion for excellence, and is a natural and analytical problem solver
- ✓Can operate effectively at both strategic and execution levels, from shaping roadmaps to unblocking delivery
- ✓Confident communicator with executives, senior leadership and engineering teams
- ✓Excellent time management and organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects with cross-team dependencies and conflicting priorities
- ✓Strong sense of service ownership and personal accountability, and a well developed bias for action
- ✓Experienced and comfortable in configuring and administrating Jira, Confluence, Asana, Excel, Project, Tableau and similar tools to drive efficiency
