About the Role
We are looking for an experienced computer vision expert to join Coupang's new Zero-One startup, Global Operations Automation and Robotics Technology (GO ART). This role will be the brain behind the GO ART sensing and perception team, responsible for developing and deploying advanced robotic perception solutions for Coupang's logistics network.
Key Responsibilities
- →Own GO ART’s robotic perception technology vision and development roadmap.
- →Be the go-to-person for state-of-the-art computer vision technologies and its application in FC automation.
- →Lead design, development, test, and deployment of integrated automation and robotic perception systems, especially for robotic manipulation.
- →Work with other members of the engineering team and stakeholders to execute against project plans and delivery commitments within an Agile/Scrum environment.
- →Deliver production-quality HW and SW perception systems to achieve scalability, reliability, availability, extensibility, and performance objectives.
- →Bring innovative ideas to practice and continuously improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance the Coupang Rocket Delivery service.
Requirements
- ✓8+ years of experience in developing and deploying robotic perception systems for FC and logistic automation.
- ✓Master degree in Computer Science or related fields
- ✓Expert-level programming skills and in-depth knowledge of FC automation, FC robotic perception solutions, and robotic manipulation solutions.
- ✓Ability to handle multiple competing priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
- ✓Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a proven ability to present complex technical information clearly and concisely.
