About the Role
We are looking for an Assistant Account Manager to join our growing CPA and Business Management firm, Adeptus Advisors LLC. This role will support our Los Angeles Business Management practice, focusing on music business management for touring artists, producers, songwriters, and independent labels.
Key Responsibilities
- →Perform day-to-day bookkeeping, including bank and credit card reconciliations
- →Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable (bill pay & invoicing)
- →Communicate with vendors, clients, and industry professionals
- →Reconcile intercompany accounts
- →Prepare payroll reports and commissions schedules
- →Assist with 1099 forms and credit applications
- →Prepare Excel schedules and financial reports
- →Maintain filing systems
- →Work in a fast-paced environment with strong team communication
Requirements
- ✓1+ year of experience in business management or accounting
- ✓Experience in the music industry preferred
- ✓Thorough understanding of bookkeeping and basic accounting principles
- ✓In-person work 5 days a week (non-remote)
- ✓Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
- ✓Strong proficiency with accounting software – AgilLink, Quickbooks Desktop, or Quickbooks Online
- ✓Experience with preparation of 1099 forms preferred
- ✓Strong attention to detail and communication skills
- ✓Ability to manage multiple tasks and work overtime
