About the Role

We are looking for an insightful and culturally curious Senior Analyst, Consumer Insights to contribute to the development and execution of Crunchyroll's global primary research initiatives. This role focuses on understanding anime fans worldwide and providing strategic insights to inform decisions across marketing, content, product, and partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

→Support the Consumer Insights Manager with the design and execution of global consumer research studies
→Contribute to studies from inception through completion, including project and vendor management, data collection and analysis
→Assist with questionnaire design, sample matrices, survey link checking, and report development
→Design end-to-end studies with guidance from the Consumer Insights Manager
→Translate primary research into clear and actionable insights that support go-to-market strategy

Requirements

✓5+ years of experience in primary market research with a focus on entertainment or media
✓2+ years of experience running or managing longitudinal quant studies
✓Strong background in survey design using tools like SurveyMonkey, Qualtrics, Decipher, etc.
✓Experience working with large data sets and crafting banner plans
✓Passion for anime, consumer insights, or fandoms
✓Excellent analytical and communication skills
✓Advanced writing and synthesis skills
✓Strong organizational abilities
