About the Role
We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our Android video player team at Crunchyroll. You will contribute to the design, development, and optimization of our Android video player library, ensuring high-quality code and performance. This role involves collaborating with various teams to shape our technology roadmap and maintain Crunchyroll's position as a leading anime streaming service.
Key Responsibilities
- →Contribute to the design and implementation of software solutions for Android-based video player development.

Requirements

- ✓Experience developing and maintaining consumer-facing mobile applications.
- ✓Experience with Android solutions serving millions of global users.
- ✓Experience working closely with product and program management to support technology roadmaps.
- ✓Experience collaborating with senior engineers and team leads to drive Android development initiatives.
- ✓Familiarity with multimedia frameworks like ExoPlayer and protocols like MPEG-DASH, HLS.
