About the Role
Crusoe is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to join their team, ensuring the reliability and performance of their AI infrastructure. This role involves detecting, analyzing, and preventing issues to maintain high Service Level Agreements (SLAs) through Service Level Indicators (SLIs) and Service Level Objectives (SLOs).
Key Responsibilities
- →Build and scale tooling and features for Crusoe's Managed Kubernetes and Managed VM platforms.
- →Collaborate with the team in morning stand-up meetings to discuss ongoing projects and priorities.
- →Review system performance metrics and analyze logs to enhance monitoring capabilities.
- →Engage in incident response drills and post-mortems to learn from past issues.
- →Maintain high SLIs and SLOs to ensure robust and reliable infrastructure.
- →Document work and share insights with the team.
Requirements
- ✓3-6 years of professional SRE experience.
- ✓Experience building Kubernetes platforms or controllers.
- ✓Exposure to server-class hardware and provisioning.
- ✓Understanding of distributed system architecture and common design patterns.
- ✓Basic understanding of infrastructure design and operational trade-offs.
- ✓Proficiency with at least one programming language (Python, Go, or similar).
- ✓Exposure to Observability tooling and philosophy.
- ✓Experience with Unix/Linux environments.
- ✓Understanding of network fundamentals and basics of TCP/IP.
- ✓Awareness of basic information security best practices.
- ✓Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
- ✓Strong communication skills.
