About the Role
We are seeking a Staff Software Engineer to architect and scale the next generation of Crusoe Cloud’s Control Plane. This role involves designing high-availability systems for managing global AI-optimized compute resources.
Key Responsibilities
- →Design and lead implementation of scalable microservices for the Crusoe Cloud control plane
- →Build backend primitives for the IaaS platform ensuring high throughput and low-latency API responses
- →Collaborate with Product, Networking, Storage, and Hardware teams to create cloud solutions for AI/ML customers
- →Drive company-wide architectural decisions to improve distributed systems
- →Mentor senior and mid-level engineers and lead design reviews
Requirements
- ✓8+ years of software development experience with mastery of modern compiled languages
- ✓Proven track record of designing and scaling fault-tolerant distributed systems
- ✓Deep technical proficiency with Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Postgres, pub/sub messaging, and CI/CD pipelines
- ✓Strong understanding of cloud resource abstraction and management in an IaaS environment
- ✓Experience in guiding engineering teams and improving onboarding processes
- ✓Exceptional ability to articulate complex technical trade-offs to both engineering peers and non-technical stakeholders
