About the Role
We are looking for an Enterprise Platform Engineer to provide Tier III engineering and advanced troubleshooting for DDSB-managed enterprise platforms. This role ensures stability, resilience, and compliance while designing and implementing complex changes and supporting modernization initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- →Analyze, validate, implement, maintain, and configure enterprise services and tools, including Active Directory, System Center Operations Manager, and related platforms
- →Coordinate with other organizations and MTFs to support directory services operations across the enterprise
- →Provide advanced support for Active Directory services, including schema extensions, sites, services, domains and trusts
- →Support and maintain Active Directory and Entra ID architectures providing authentication and authorization
- →Validate data encryption services on desktops and laptops for compliance with DHA and DoD policies
- →Provide installation and maintenance of physical and virtual servers to enhance efficiency of critical systems
- →Manage and monitor data encryption services, including deployment, upgrades, and policy enforcement
- →Collaborate with DHA and DoD stakeholders to support future data encryption initiatives
- →Monitor enterprise system uptime using Microsoft SCOM and maintain monitoring frameworks
- →Analyze enterprise monitoring implementations and provide status reports
- →Customize monitoring rules, alerting, and reporting
- →Maintain disaster recovery capabilities and procedures
- →Implement and maintain Public Key Infrastructure and Public Key Encryption services
Requirements
- ✓Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a closely related discipline or equivalent practical experience
- ✓Minimum 4 years of relevant experience supporting enterprise IT environments
- ✓At least one certification: Cloud+, GICSP, SSCP, Security+, or GSEC
- ✓Must be able to obtain and maintain Public Trust suitability and all required system access
- ✓Experience with DoD Manual 8140.03 work role 451 (NIST: OM-SA-001)
