Constantinople delivers a new era of AI-native banking. Constantinople provides banks with a fully-managed software and AI operational platform, which brings together customer experience, product, data, operations, compliance and infrastructure in a single platform.
Constantinopleβs AI-native platform eliminates the need for expensive infrastructure, and replaces manual operational and compliance processes with AI at scale. By removing the operational complexity of banking, Constantinople enables our client banks to focus on their customers and theβ―businessβ―of banking.
The Role
The Product Management team is accountable for end-to-end performance of the Constantinople transaction banking product suite, ensuring it meets customer goals, legal and regulatory obligations, and operational targets.
The Product Manager will lead the Transaction Banking squad, owning the strategy and delivery of our core banking, transaction and savings products in an era where AI is redefining what "everyday banking" means. You won't just be adding AI features to traditional products, you'll be reimagining products from first principles, designing experiences where AI acts as the customer's financial assistant and where intelligent systems drive how products are built, tested, and optimised.
You'll work closely with cross-functional partners across Software Engineering, Solution Engineering, Product Design, and AI/ML to ship forward thinking products.
What You'll Do
Reimagine everyday banking for an AI-native world. Define and execute the product vision for transaction accounts and savings products where AI is the interaction layer, not a service bot. Design deposit products that learn, adapt, and proactively serve customers rather than waiting for them to tap a button.
Build intelligent financial management experiences. Create AI-powered tools that genuinely improve customers' financial literacy and habits that meets customers where they are (e.g, proactive savings nudges, natural-language money management, predictive cash flow insights, and context-aware financial guidance).
Grow deposits across our client banks. Develop comprehensive strategies for account acquisition and deposit growth, using AI-driven experimentation and personalisation to optimise outcomes at pace.
Ship with AI in your own workflow. Use AI tools to accelerate your product process, from synthesising customer research and generating specs to analysing behavioural data and running competitive analysis. Model the AI-native way of working you expect from your squad.
Design for trust and transparency. Ensure AI-powered features are explainable, fair, and compliant. Work closely with legal, risk, and compliance teams to navigate the regulatory landscape for AI in financial services.
Drive differentiation through intelligence. Develop features that set our clients apart. Personalised financial experiences powered by behavioural analytics, intelligent automation that reduces operational burden, and adaptive product configurations that respond to market conditions in real time.
Shape the roadmap with data. Monitor industry trends, customer signals, and competitor offerings through a quantitative lens. Use AI-assisted analysis to surface insights, identify opportunities, and continuously refine the product roadmap.
Contribute to building a world-class Product team. Help scale a team that values collaboration, meaningful work, and impact where AI fluency is a core craft skill alongside customer empathy and commercial acumen.
Who You Are
Experience & domain expertise. 5+ years as a Product Manager with meaningful experience in transaction accounts, deposit products, or everyday banking. You have a strong grasp of deposit portfolio dynamics and a track record of growing deposit bases.
AI-native product thinker. You don't just "leverage AI", you think in terms of AI-first product architectures. You have hands-on experience shipping products where machine learning, LLMs, or intelligent automation are core to the value proposition, not a bolt-on. You understand the capabilities and limitations of current AI systems and can translate that into product decisions.
Builder who uses AI tools daily. You actively use AI in your own work. Whether that's drafting specs, analysing data, prototyping flows, or synthesising research. You have strong opinions on which tools work and a genuine curiosity about what's emerging.
Deep customer empathy. You understand consumer financial behaviour and have a proven ability to design products that drive positive financial habits. You can simplify complex financial concepts into experiences that feel intuitive and empowering.
Comfort with ambiguity and speed. You thrive in environments where the playbook is being written in real time. You have a bias towards action, a sharp problem-solving instinct, and the resilience to navigate competing priorities in a fast-moving startup.
Technical fluency. You can go deep on technical details (e.g., data pipelines, model architectures, API design) and communicate them clearly to diverse stakeholders. You don't need to write production code, but you should be able to evaluate technical trade-offs and hold your own with engineers.
Regulatory awareness. You understand the regulatory requirements for deposit products in the Australian market and can navigate the emerging regulatory landscape for AI in financial services.
Cross-functional influence. Proven ability to drive alignment across engineering, design, compliance, and external banking partners without relying on positional authority.
Startup DNA. You've operated in high-growth, resource-constrained environments before and found it energising rather than exhausting. Startup experience is highly valued.
