About the Role
Cyara is seeking a Senior Cloud Security Engineer to design, implement, and optimize security controls across cloud environments. This role involves working closely with infrastructure, product, and engineering teams to ensure secure architecture, monitoring, and maintenance of workloads, identities, data, and networks.
Key Responsibilities
- →Design secure-by-default cloud architectures and integrations
- →Design and review cloud IAM strategies for AWS, Azure, and GCP
- →Harden cloud configurations to prevent accidental exposure and ensure compliance
- →Secure software supply chain by reviewing pipeline permissions and secrets handling
- →Conduct threat modeling sessions and define security requirements for new features
- →Develop AWS-centric security automation and enforce Policy-as-Code
- →Manage alerts from CSPM, SIEM, and cloud-native tools
- →Lead investigations into cloud-specific incidents
- →Run and analyze vulnerability scans for cloud workloads
- →Ensure cloud audit logs are enabled and readily available for forensic investigations
- →Serve as a subject matter expert for developer and infrastructure teams
Requirements
- ✓Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Security, or related field
- ✓Minimum of 8 years of experience in information security with a focus on Cloud Security
- ✓In-depth knowledge of CIS Benchmarks, Cloud Security Alliance (CSA) CCM, and NIST 800-53
- ✓Extensive experience with CSPM and CNAPP tools
- ✓Deep expertise in AWS security services and experience securing Kubernetes and serverless architectures
- ✓Proven experience implementing Infrastructure as Code security scans and Policy-as-Code
- ✓Knowledge and experience with security controls for AI/ML infrastructure
- ✓Experience securing CI/CD pipelines and supply chain workflows
- ✓Strong analytical skills with the ability to conduct cloud forensics and support incident response
- ✓Excellent communication skills
- ✓Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Security – Specialty, ISC2 CCSP, or CISSP are highly desirable.
