About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to build the foundation of our ML Platform at Dandy, a leading digital-first custom dental appliance manufacturer. You will bridge SoTA Computer Vision research and production-grade reliability, designing infrastructure for massive 3D datasets and generative models.
Key Responsibilities
- →Collaborate with Machine Learning Engineers to build ML training pipelines for processing 3D datasets
- →Streamline the ML lifecycle by optimizing internal components and reducing technical debt
- →Develop and maintain cloud-native systems (GCP/Kubernetes) for Dandy’s 3D dental products
- →Write clean, maintainable code and tests following internal best practices
- →Partner with stakeholders to influence architectural goals and maintain quality standards
Requirements
- ✓5+ years of experience as a Machine Learning Engineer or Software Engineer
- ✓Deep proficiency in building ML platform components including feature stores and distributed training infrastructure
- ✓Experience designing ML systems on cloud infrastructure with containerization and orchestration technologies
- ✓Expertise in large-scale data processing and building reliable ML data pipelines
- ✓Experience creating automated build, test, and deployment workflows
- ✓Strong background in observability for complex production systems
- ✓Ability to communicate complex architectural problems clearly
- ✓Experience with Python-based ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow)
