About the Role
We are looking for a Geo Hunter Executive to join Databricks in Melbourne, Australia. This role focuses on driving company growth by acquiring new customers and expanding into new territories within the Energy and Utilities sector.
Key Responsibilities
- →Activate new Databricks customers and accelerate Pay-as-you-go customers past their initial use-cases
- →Drive customer consumption by identifying key use cases and increasing usage
- →Secure strategic committed deals by identifying, structuring, and closing opportunities
- →Prospect and generate leads using various strategies and resources
- →Engage prospects and build relationships to displace incumbent technologies
- →Execute sales by conducting first meetings and creating urgency for change
- →Manage pipeline in Salesforce, create proof of concepts, and oversee the sales cycle
- →Collaborate with architects, professional services, and executive sponsors
Requirements
- ✓Proven track record in sales, particularly in acquiring new customers and expanding into new territories
- ✓Experience in selling innovation, ideally in Big Data, Cloud, or SaaS technology
- ✓Focus on Energy and Utilities industry
- ✓Strong prospecting, lead generation, and customer engagement skills
- ✓Ability to drive consumption and secure first-time commits
- ✓Effective collaboration with cross-functional teams
- ✓Understanding of Databricks' platform and its value to customers
