About the Role

We are looking for an AI Forward Deployed Engineer to join our specialized customer-facing AI team at Databricks. This role involves delivering professional services to help customers build and productionize innovative AI applications.

Key Responsibilities

→Develop cutting-edge GenAI solutions using the latest techniques from our Mosaic AI Research
→Own production rollouts of consumer and internally facing GenAI applications
→Serve as a trusted technical advisor to customers across various domains
→Present at conferences such as Data + AI Summit
→Collaborate with product and engineering teams to influence priorities and shape the product roadmap

Requirements

✓Experience building GenAI applications, including RAG, multi-agent systems, Text2SQL, and fine-tuning
✓Expertise in deploying production-grade GenAI applications, including evaluation and optimizations
✓Extensive hands-on industry data science experience with tools like pandas, scikit-learn, and PyTorch
✓Experience building production-grade machine learning deployments on AWS, Azure, or GCP
✓Graduate degree in a quantitative discipline or equivalent practical experience
✓Experience communicating technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
✓Passion for collaboration, lifelong learning, and driving business value through AI
✓Preferred: Experience using the Databricks Intelligence Platform and Apache Spark
