About the Role
We are looking for a Big Data Solutions Architect to join our Professional Services team in Germany. You will work with clients on short to medium term customer engagements to solve big data challenges using the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform.
Key Responsibilities
- →Design and build reference architectures for customer technical projects
- →Scope professional services work with engagement managers and customer input
- →Guide strategic customers through big data projects and 3rd party migrations
- →Provide escalated support for customer operational issues
- →Collaborate with technical teams to deliver technical components of engagements
- →Work with Engineering and Customer Support to resolve product and support issues
Requirements
- ✓Proficient in data engineering, data platforms, and analytics
- ✓Experience with Python or Scala
- ✓Enterprise Data Warehousing experience (Teradata, Synapse, Snowflake, or SAP)
- ✓Working knowledge of AWS, Azure, or GCP with expertise in at least one
- ✓Deep experience with distributed computing using Apache Spark
- ✓Familiarity with CI/CD for production deployments
- ✓Working knowledge of MLOps
- ✓Experience with technical project delivery and documentation skills
- ✓Travel required up to 10%
- ✓Databricks Certification
