About the Role
We are looking for a Solutions Architect to join our Professional Services team. This role involves working with clients on big data challenges using the Databricks platform, providing data engineering, data science, and cloud technology projects.
Key Responsibilities
- →Design and build reference architectures and productionalize customer use cases
- →Scope professional services work with engagement managers and customer input
- →Guide strategic customers through big data projects and migrations
- →Consult on architecture and design, bootstrap or implement customer projects
- →Provide escalated support for customer operational issues
- →Collaborate with technical teams to deliver engagement components
- →Work with Engineering and Support to resolve product and implementation issues
Requirements
- ✓Extensive experience in data engineering, data platforms & analytics
- ✓Comfortable writing code in Python or Scala
- ✓Working knowledge of AWS, Azure, or GCP with expertise in at least one
- ✓Deep experience with distributed computing using Apache Spark
- ✓Familiarity with CI/CD for production deployments
- ✓Working knowledge of MLOps
- ✓Experience with technical project delivery and documentation skills
- ✓Experience working with clients and managing conflicts
- ✓Travel to customers 10% of the time
- ✓[Preferred] Databricks Certification
