About the Role
We are looking for an Authentication Strategy Lead to join our team at Databricks. This role focuses on creating the vision and defining the strategy for Authentication, balancing uncompromised security with a frictionless user experience.
Key Responsibilities
- →Craft and execute a long-term north-star vision for Authentication
- →Recruit and mentor top-tier engineering talent to scale our security infrastructure
- →Act as the voice of Security Engineering across the organization
- →Present Databricks’ security innovations at major academic and industry conferences
Requirements
- ✓10+ years of experience in Data Security or related areas
- ✓Expertise in Authentication, Network, Kubernetes Security, Web Security, Governance, Privacy, Trust, Safety, Identity Management, Access Control, Key Management, Inter-Service Authentication, Secure Application Frameworks, Detection & Response
- ✓15+ years of experience building large scale distributed systems with high availability
- ✓Leadership skills and experience to lead across functional and organizational lines
- ✓Strong communication skills to explain and evangelize Data Security
- ✓Bias to action and passion for delivering high-quality solutions
- ✓MS or Ph.D. in Computer Science or related fields
