About the Role
We are looking for a Resident Solutions Architect (RSA) to join our Professional Services team. You will work with customers on short to medium term engagements using the Databricks platform to solve big data challenges. This role involves providing data engineering, data science, and cloud technology projects that integrate with client systems and require training and other technical tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- →Handle a variety of customer technical projects including designing and building reference architectures
- →Work with engagement managers to scope professional services work
- →Guide strategic customers through big data projects and 3rd party migrations
- →Consult on architecture and design, bootstrap or implement customer projects
- →Provide escalated support for customer operational issues
- →Collaborate with technical teams to ensure engagement delivery
- →Work with Engineering and Support to provide product feedback and guide resolution
Requirements
- ✓US Top Secret Clearance required
- ✓6+ years experience in data engineering, data platforms & analytics
- ✓Comfortable writing code in Python or Scala
- ✓Working knowledge of AWS, Azure, or GCP with expertise in at least one
- ✓Deep experience with distributed computing using Apache Spark
- ✓Familiarity with CI/CD for production deployments
- ✓Working knowledge of MLOps
- ✓Design and deployment of end-to-end data architectures
- ✓Experience with technical project delivery and documentation
- ✓Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent experience
