About the Role
We are looking for a Pre-sales Solutions Architect to guide the technical evaluation phase in a hands-on environment throughout the sales process. You will serve as a technical advisor to the sales team and advocate for customers in the Financial Services field, helping them achieve data-driven outcomes through the Databricks Lakehouse Platform.
Key Responsibilities
- →Be a Big Data Analytics expert on aspects of architecture and design
- →Lead prospects through evaluating and adopting Databricks
- →Support customers by authoring reference architectures, how-tos, and demo applications
- →Integrate Databricks with 3rd-party applications to support customer architectures
- →Engage with the technical community by leading workshops, seminars, and meet-ups
- →Form successful relationships with clients to provide technical and business value
Requirements
- ✓Pre-sales or post-sales experience working with external clients across various industry markets
- ✓Understanding of customer-facing pre-sales or consulting role with a core strength in Data Engineering or Data Science
- ✓Experience demonstrating technical concepts, including presenting and whiteboarding
- ✓Experience designing and implementing architectures within public clouds (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- ✓Experience with Big Data technologies, including Apache Spark, AI, Data Science, Data Engineering, Hadoop, and Cassandra
- ✓Fluent coding experience in Python or Scala implementing Apache Spark, Java, and R
- ✓Experience working with Enterprise Accounts
- ✓Written and verbal fluency in Japanese and English
