About the Role
We are looking for a Project Manager to join Databricks' Professional Services team. This role focuses on accelerating and de-risking customer outcomes through improved project success while maintaining high customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- →Take ownership of commercial delivery of services across numerous concurrent projects in Asean and Greater China Region
- →Define, manage, scope and mitigate risk across projects including enforcing project reporting, milestone tracking and financial management
- →Work with account management and customer teams to complete handover from sales to delivery teams
- →Ensure accurate reporting on projects and keep all relevant parties up-to-date with project activity and success
Requirements
- ✓4+ years experience successfully managing big data projects with teams of up to 5 people with contract values over $0.5 million
- ✓Experience in managing enterprise scale projects, ideally within the big data and analytics industry
- ✓Knowledge of industry project management techniques including agile delivery with PMI/PRINCE/AGILE certification
- ✓Strong communication and analytical skills with ability to mentor team members
- ✓Initiative, determination and resourcefulness
- ✓Strong commercial focus with experience managing both T&M and Fixed Price project engagements
- ✓Willingness to travel across the region
