About the Role
We are looking for a Strategic Account Executive to join Databricks in Germany and maximize market opportunities within the FSI vertical. You will focus on building relationships and closing new business opportunities with Germany's largest savings bank and one of Europe's largest insurance groups.
Key Responsibilities
- →Take full responsibility for flagship accounts, defining strategy and driving it to exceed revenue goals
- →Turn strategy into action, executing with urgency to consistently overachieve targets
- →Build boardroom-level relationships, becoming the trusted advisor on data and AI for senior stakeholders
- →Uncover and shape new business, expanding use cases and driving deeper platform consumption

- →Demonstrate compelling value in every engagement, leading confident negotiations from discovery to close
Requirements
- ✓Proven track record of exceeding revenue targets in complex enterprise sales environments
- ✓Recognized Banking/FSI domain expertise with deep understanding of German regulatory landscape
- ✓Proven success selling data, analytics, big data, AI, or technical cloud software
- ✓Ability to identify high-impact AI use cases and engage key buying centers
- ✓Strong understanding of consumption-based models to drive sustained growth
- ✓Demonstrated ability to create demand by translating customer priorities into measurable value
- ✓Disciplined use of sales methodologies combined with accurate forecasting
- ✓Experience building executive-level champions and leading cross-functional teams
- ✓Experience executing partner strategies within complex opportunities
- ✓Willingness to travel to customer sites and industry events
- ✓Fluency in German and English with credibility to influence senior stakeholders
