About the Role
We are seeking an Enterprise Sales Engineer to serve as a trusted technical advisor, delivering compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations. This role will partner with customers and channel partners to qualify and close opportunities, while collaborating with Product to prioritize features based on field insights and customer feedback.
Key Responsibilities
- →Partner with the Sales team to articulate Datadog’s value proposition and strategy to customers
- →Own technical engagement with customers during the trial phase
- →Technically close complex opportunities through advanced competitive knowledge
- →Deliver product and technical briefings to potential clients
- →Maintain accurate notes and feedback in CRM regarding customer input
- →Proactively engage with customers and Datadog teams regarding product feedback
Requirements
- ✓Passionate about educating agencies on observability risks
- ✓Strong written and oral communication skills
- ✓3+ years in a Sales Engineering or DevOps Engineering role
- ✓Experienced in programming/scripting with Java, Python, Ruby, Go, Node.JS, PHP, or .NET
- ✓Able to travel up to 45% of the time
