About the Role
We are looking for a product-minded AI Engineer to join Datadog and help build the next generation of AI-driven security capabilities. This role involves working on cutting-edge AI agents that drive real value for customers.
Key Responsibilities
- →Work closely with users, security experts, PMs, and data scientists on cutting-edge AI agents
- →Develop tools, retrieval and planning strategies, and guardrails
- →Collaborate with Product, Design, and partner teams to build cohesive experiences
- →Prototype and iterate closely with users and experts, then ship
- →Follow the latest research on GenAI and AI agents
Requirements
- ✓BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, Artificial Intelligence or related field
- ✓At least 4 years of professional experience as a backend engineer (Go, Python, Java, etc.)
- ✓Relevant work experience with LLMs, large-scale systems, machine learning
- ✓Experience shipping software that uses LLMs to production
- ✓Ability to work in a fast, high-growth startup environment
- ✓Strong communication skills to drive technical conversations
