About the Role
We are looking for a Revenue Data Scientist – Marketing to join our Revenue Intelligence team at DeepL. This role involves partnering with senior executives to analyze marketing and SDR performance, focusing on inbound lead quality, trial conversion, and sales funnel progression.
Key Responsibilities
- →Define, maintain, and evolve key go-to-market pipelines related to inbound leads, trials, MQLs, SQLs, and SDR-sourced opportunities
- →Analyze inbound lead and trial performance to understand quality, conversion rates, and downstream revenue impact
- →Partner with SDR leadership to analyze activity, conversion, and throughput across the SDR funnel
- →Diagnose friction points and drop-offs in the sales funnel, including stage conversion and deal velocity
- →Build and maintain dashboards that communicate marketing and SDR performance to executive leadership
- →Generate insights and recommendations to improve pipeline creation, deal velocity, and revenue outcomes
- →Collaborate with Sales Ops, Marketing Ops, and Finance to ensure consistent definitions and aligned reporting
Requirements
- ✓4–6+ years of experience in revenue analytics, marketing analytics, sales analytics, or GTM operations
- ✓Advanced SQL proficiency, including complex joins, window functions, and performance optimization
- ✓Strong experience with BI tools (Tableau, Metabase, Looker) and executive-level reporting
- ✓Experience defining funnel metrics, pipeline models, and stage-based performance frameworks
- ✓Strong understanding of how marketing and SDR activity translates into pipeline and revenue
- ✓Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain insights clearly to senior leaders
- ✓Ability to work directly with business stakeholders to translate analytical needs into reliable data products
