About the Role
We are looking for a Full Stack Developer to join our Voice team at DeepL. This role involves designing and building full-stack features for real-time voice interpretation, maintaining and improving systems, and ensuring code quality and clarity.
Key Responsibilities
- →Design and build full-stack features, collaborating with product managers, designers, and other engineers
- →Maintain and improve systems to ensure they stay performant, maintainable, and reliable
- →Participate in code reviews, contribute to architectural decisions, and help raise the bar for engineering excellence
- →Collaborate cross-functionally with teammates across disciplines
- →Stay curious and keep up with evolving tools and technologies
- →Participate in the team's on-call rotation to ensure the reliability and availability of services
Requirements
- ✓Strong product engineering mindset with a focus on solving real user problems
- ✓Full-stack fluency with solid foundations in system design
- ✓Strong software engineering skills with experience in clean abstractions, robust data modeling, and sound architectural decisions
- ✓Collaborative communicator with clear communication and active listening skills
