Hey there! π
Thanks for checking us out. We hope this gives you a real feel for who we are, what we're building, and whether Deeploy is the kind of place where you'll do some of your best work. If anything here resonates, reach out, we love a good conversation.
Why Deeploy? π€
AI is being deployed everywhere, but most of it is a black box. Deeploy exists to change that. We build the technical foundation that makes AI truly responsible: helping companies detect, understand, and prevent the harms caused by misaligned models before they impact the real world.
We're an AI-native team. That means we don't just build for AI, we aim to be a frontrunner in our own engineering. We're constantly rethinking how we write, review, and ship code, and we expect everyone on the team to be part of that evolution.
What you'll be doing π
There's real room here for your ideas and judgment. We're growing fast, and we'll invest in your growth just as much as you invest in ours. We're flexible and autonomous, if you're proactive and own your work, we'll be a great fit.
Within 1 month, you'll:
- Have your footing in the codebase and shipped your first meaningful contribution
- Fixed real bugs that had been sitting on the backlog
- Taken ownership of a small but impactful feature
Within 3 months, you'll:
- Be working confidently across the full stack: from database queries to frontend components
- Be contributing to features end-to-end with positive feedback from teammates on your code
Within 6 months, you'll:
- Have shipped features that genuinely move the needle for customers
- Be someone the team relies on and you'll feel it
- Look back at what you built and be proud of it
Who we're looking for
We care far more about how you think and build than the context in which you built it. Whether your experience comes from production systems, a weekend hackathon, an open-source side project, or a university lab, if you've shipped real things and care about craft, we want to hear from you.
You'll need:
- Strong TypeScript skills, with experience on both frontend and backend
- Familiarity with a server-side framework (Node.js, Python, or similar)
- Experience with a modern frontend framework (preferably Angular)
- Solid grasp of web fundamentals: HTTP, REST APIs, JSON
- Working knowledge of SQL
Bonus points if you:
- Have built something AI-powered: a model wrapper, an agent, an LLM-powered feature
- Have shipped under pressure: hackathons, 48-hour sprints, solo launches
- Have worked with microservices, Docker, or Kubernetes
- Have touched a cloud platform
- Have a GitHub, portfolio, or demo you're proud to show
What to expect from us β‘οΈ
- A team that ships, learns, and celebrates
- A beautiful office in the heart of Utrecht, with a sensible hybrid policy
- A culture of quality and honesty, we adjust when we're wrong, and we're not afraid to say so
- Fair, experience-based compensation
- A meaningful equity stake via our employee stock option plan
Our north star: be the go-to technical foundation for governing AI and genuinely enjoy the ride getting there.
How we hire
We take hiring seriously because the team is everything. Our process is fast, human, and designed to give you as much signal about us as we get about you. We aim to complete it within 2-4 weeks.
1. Apply via the website we will study your LinkedIn or CV, but we're even more excited to see something you've built: a project, a hackathon submission, a GitHub repo, anything you're proud of.
2. Intro call (30 min): a quick conversation with one of our founders or engineering lead. We mostly want to know who you are, what you care about, and what you've made.
3. Coding challenge (max 3 hours): you work on it independently, but we're available for questions. You'll walk two team members through your solution. We care about how you think, not just the output.
4. Team fit conversation: you meet another founder and team member to make sure the excitement is mutual.
5. Offer: if it's a match, we move fast. Welcome aboard! π
