Overview Join our innovative team as a Senior Network Automation Engineer, where your primary focus will be developing and implementing cutting-edge automated testing frameworks for hardware and networking equipment within enterprise-level and data center environments. Your deep expertise in Python, scripting, and solid network engineering skills will significantly enhance the efficiency and reliability of our testing processes, ensuring robust network performance. Responsibilities • Design and develop comprehensive test automation frameworks tailored to hardware and networking environments using Python and Bash scripting. • Conduct setup, configuration, and debugging of network labs featuring Cisco routers and switches or similar equipment. • Automate testing processes using industry-standard tools and frameworks, particularly focusing on Cisco, Arista, or Juniper network devices. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define testing requirements and ensure alignment with network engineering standards. • Monitor and optimize automated tests for network protocols like TCP/IP, BGP, and OSPF to ensure high-quality network performance. Minimum Qualifications • A senior level of experience (7+ years) in network engineering, with proficiency in lab-based network setup and troubleshooting. • Strong Python programming skills with hands-on experience in building test automation frameworks. • Familiarity with networking hardware, specifically Cisco routers and switches, or equivalent gear like Arista or Juniper. • Proficiency in scripting languages, particularly Bash, for automation tasks. • Solid understanding of network protocols, including TCP/IP, BGP, and OSPF. Preferred Qualifications • Certifications like CCNA or CCNP, demonstrating a high-level understanding of networking concepts. • Experience with advanced test automation tools and frameworks used specifically in network testing environments. • Expertise in configuring and troubleshooting network devices from major vendors such as Cisco, Arista, and Juniper. • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, adapting to evolving technology and testing needs.
