Senior Channel Marketing Manager - APAC Position Summary
The Delinea team is looking for an experienced and highly motivated Senior Channel Marketing Manager to develop and execute our marketing strategy and vision across Asia Pacific (APAC).
The Senior Channel Marketing Manager (APAC) reports to the Marketing Director (APAC) and works in concert with our global and regional Marketing team members and collaborates with our APAC and Regional Channel Leaders, Regional Sales leaders, their key stakeholders in the sales, sales development and sales engineering functions of our business to deliver growth through our Focused Partners (VADβs/VARs) and Strategic Alliances. The focus of this role is on designing and delivering our channel marketing strategy, primarily on market through and with activities to drive channel-sourced leads and opportunities/pipeline creation goals, as well supporting market to activities.
We are looking for a dynamic channel marketing professional with experience in growth marketing / demand generation, channel marketing in the IT industry, in cybersecurity. They are resourceful, creative, and proactive with a proven ability to take responsibility, solve problems and contribute. They can work independently but are also a great team player. They have sharp strategic marketing skills combined with the willingness and ability to tactically execute the plan.
What You'll Do:
- Be responsible for defining and executing the channel marketing plan, across the breadth of the marketing mix, to drive new channel sourced business in line with the regional needs following the business revenue waterfall.
- Drive joint planning with Focused Partners to map out a plan of co-marketing activities with mutually agreed lead and pipeline targets and determine investment priorities based on ROI.
- Manage the channel marketing budget, measuring and optimising co-marketing programs to ensure activities are effective, efficient, and demonstrate desired ROI.
- Coordinate a calendar of channel content, campaigns, and other activities to deliver predictable pipeline generation and sales stage progression toward close.
- Work with regional sales/channels team on Focused Account mapping by Focus Partner
- Work with regional field teams on partner inclusion in appropriate conferences and speaking events that will help drive leads, pipeline, and new partner-led revenue.
- Manage liaisons with Focused Partners on regular channel cadences and Partner councils.
- Track and report on:
- Co-marketing Campaign performance and ROI,
- Deal Registration and conversion to bookings contribution rates,
- Channel marketing budget management.
What You'll Bring:
- Experience as a creative, flexible, hands-on channel marketing leader who is comfortable rolling up their sleeves and getting the job done.
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to juggle multiple workstreams simultaneously.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and can manage pressure when faced with time, budget, or resource constraints.
- Solid co-marketing campaign management background within the B2B technology industry with Cybersecurity sector experience.
- Proven experience in successful channel co-marketing
- 7+ years channel marketing experience in high-growth technology companies
- Strong ability to define channel marketing strategy while also driving exceptional execution.
- Experience working with a global/international marketing team.
- First-class presentation and communication skills, able to consult effectively with partners and colleagues at all levels.
- Able to work in a matrix environment, show initiative and forge strong relationships both internally and externally.
- Strong budget management and marketing measurement skills.
- Bachelor-level degree in Marketing is a plus.
- Salesforce experience required
- Fluent English Speaker (both writing and speaking).
