About the Role
We are looking for a City Manager to join our commercial team at Deliveroo. This role focuses on driving growth and operational excellence in the Nord region of Paris, ensuring optimal user experience while building sustainable partnerships with local restaurants.
Key Responsibilities
- →Lead strategic initiatives by implementing national and regional strategies at the city level, managing budgets, and achieving growth targets.
- →Manage key partnerships to grow revenue, supervise account development with Account Managers, and ensure a premium experience on the Deliveroo app.
- →Optimize processes by proposing local initiatives and improving processes to adapt to Deliveroo's rapid evolution.
- →Serve as a brand ambassador by representing Deliveroo with influential food industry organizations and managing local institutional relations.
- →Provide on-the-ground expertise by regularly visiting cities for strategic meetings with key partners and supporting Account Managers in the field.
- →Foster cross-functional collaboration with key functions like Key Accounts, Operations, Legal, and Marketing to maximize the impact of local actions.
Requirements
- ✓Proven commercial experience: Minimum 5 years in commercial or business development roles.
- ✓Project management and strategy: Demonstrated ability to define and execute a local strategy to develop a complex territory.
- ✓Agility and autonomy: Ability to quickly shift from strategic thinking to operational execution while working independently.
- ✓Entrepreneurial spirit: Strong affinity for the food industry, operations, and problem-solving in a startup environment.
- ✓Language skills: Current mastery of French and English is essential for collaboration in our international environment.
