About the Role
We are looking for a Software Engineer Intern to join our team at Deliveroo. This role focuses on developing and maintaining technological solutions that improve the experiences of our restaurants, riders, and consumers. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to develop, maintain, and ship products while collaborating with your team to solve real problems for our customers.
Key Responsibilities

Requirements
- ✓Pursuing a B.S. or M.S. Degree in Computer Science or equivalent, with no more than 2 years of full-time work experience
- ✓Graduating between Fall 2026 to Summer 2027
- ✓Available for a Summer 2026 start date
- ✓Experience working with databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, AWS, SQL, etc.)
- ✓Solid understanding of algorithms and data structures
- ✓Experience writing web-based applications in any language, and an interest in learning (Go, Ruby/Rails, Python, Scala, or Rust)
- ✓Experience writing clean code, working with version control, and doing unit testing.
